½½islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the National Police Academy and reviewed progress on the academy's upgradation project. He also inspected the ongoing construction work of the new hostel building.

½ The 11-storey building will be completed within five months, while he directed that the first phase of the upgradation project should be completed within the stipulated timeframe. He directed that all construction work must be completed on time with quality and transparency.

½The Interior Minister also visited the officers' mess, tasted the food prepared for trainee officers to check its quality. He also inspected the sports complex, instructing that it should be completely renovated. He also visited the firing simulation room and directed that it must be upgraded according to modern requirements.

½Mohsin Naqvi said that the National Police Academy is the backbone of the police force, adding that well-trained officers and personnel are the real guarantee for the protection of citizens' lives and property. He emphasized that the academy would be transformed into a modern and fully equipped institution.

½Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randhawa briefed the Interior Minister on the progress of the construction work, informing that the structural work of the 11-storey building has been completed up to the third-floor roof, and that the ongoing development work at the National Police Academy is progressing on schedule.

½The Commandant of the National Police Academy, Member CDA, and other officers were also present on the occasion.
