Mohsin Naqvi pays surprise visit to NADRA Center Gujranwala


GUJRANWALA: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a surprise visit to the NADRA Center in Gujranwala. The Interior Minister reviewed the process of issuing CNICs and other documents. He met citizens who had come to get their identity cards and other documents made, listened to their issues, and inquired about the services being provided at the center.



Citizens expressed satisfaction over the performance of the NADRA Center. Observing heavy rush at some counters, the Interior Minister instructed the staff to speed up the process. Mohsin Naqvi visited various counters, met with the staff, and advised them to work diligently.





Interior Minister also issued on-the-spot directions to the NADRA Center In-charge for resolving citizens’ issues. He said he was pleased to see that people were satisfied with the process of obtaining CNICs and other documents at the NADRA Center.



Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the staff for remaining busy and attentive despite the rush and emphasized that citizens’ work should be completed efficiently and without delay. ‘Citizens should not face any difficulty or delay in obtaining CNICs or other documents. Every person visiting a NADRA Center is a VIP,’ he remarked.



Interior Minister further instructed that citizens’ work should be completed on the same day and documents delivered within the prescribed timeframe. Citizens thanked the Interior Minister for issuing immediate directions to resolve their issues and remarked that they no longer have to wait for long periods.



Meanwhile, Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of late SP Adeel Akbar of Islamabad Police in Kamonki. Mohsin Naqvi met SP Adeel Akbar’s father, brother, and other family members, expressing sorrow and condolences over their loss.





½Interior Minister offered Fateha for the departed soul and prayed for patience for the bereaved family. He said that SP Adeel Akbar was an asset to Islamabad Police – a very capable and dedicated officer. ‘His untimely death is a great personal loss. We share your grief and will always stand by your family,’ he stated. DIG Islamabad Police Atique Tahir, DIG Jawad Tariq, and DIG Haroon Joiya were also present on the occasion.
