Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid rich tribute to Pakistan Air Force Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed on his martyrdom anniversary.

Mohsin Naqvi said that Nishan Haider Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas is a symbol of bravery, fearlessness and patriotism. He added that Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas made an eternal sacrifice, destroyed the enemy's evil intentions and created history with courage and unparalleled love for Pakistan. He stated that when the traitor tried to hijack the plane, Rashid Minhas foiled the conspiracy without caring for his life. He underscored that the light of martyred Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas's patriotic spirit still illuminates our hearts today. He emphasized that Martyred Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas gave a clear message to the enemy that Pakistan's skies will never fall prey to it's conspiracies. He said that this great sacrifice proved that real bravery is when one saves the honor of the homeland without caring for life, and the sacrifice Rashid Minhas is it's true example. He highlighted that in the recent war too, the Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force rendered a crushing defeat to the enemy by shooting down it's 6 warplanes. He stated that the Pakistan Air Force maintained its superiority by demonstrating excellent strategy and professional skills, which was also recognized by the world.

Mohsin Naqvi added that every Shaheen of the Pakistan Air Force is filled with extraordinary courage and unparalleled spirit of patriotism like martyred Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas. He said that we are proud of our fearless and dedicated officers and personnel of Pakistan Air Force who are always ready to defend the homeland.
