Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Monem Zafar Khan visited the home of young Asghar Mari, who was shot dead by armed robbers near the Northern Bypass in Manghopir Town, UC-3, and met with the bereaved family to offer his condolences.Monem Zafar Khan expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic incident. On this occasion, Ameer District Gadap Irfan Ahmed, Haji Toor Khan, and other district and local office-bearers flanked the JI leader.Monem Zafar Khan strongly condemned the incompetence and poor performance of the Sindh government and the police department over the killing of the young man during a robbery.He said that Karachi's youth, children, and other citizens are being killed on a daily basis-either becoming victims of deadly dumpers and water tankers or being shot by armed robbers.He stated that the Sindh government and the police have completely failed to protect the lives and property of citizens. Hundreds of cameras have been installed across the city, and under the pretext of e -challans the public is being financially exploited, yet criminal and armed elements, thieves, and robbers have been given a free hand.
