Lakki marwat: 5 children have died and one woman and 11 children have been injured due to explosion of mortar shell in the limit of Sadar police station district Lakki Marwat KP.

According to police the incident took place when the children found mortar shell from open field and they brought it to their home.

The shell exploded as soon as they reached home .

According to RESCUE spokesperson RESCUE ambulances rushed to the scene on information and they shifted the bodies and injured to nearby city hospital forthwith.

Hospital sources confirmed that the most among the injured are children. Some among them are in critical condition.

Emergency has been imposed in city hospital.
