Lahore: Mother has filed petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) for recovery of her son, PTI leader Hammad Azhar. Mother of Hammad Azhar has filed petition through barrister Abuzar Suleman Khan Niazi making IG Punjab, CCPO and others respondents.

The counsel for the petitioner said Hammad Azhar was arrested from Multan two days back. But he has not been presented in any court so far.

Counsel for the petitioner said Hammad Raza be got recovered and order be issued to present him in the court.

The court should order the respective authorities to show the arrest of Hammad Azhar as per law.

The court was also requested to order for providing record of the case registered against Hammad Azhar.

On the other hand Hammad Azhar is being investigated after his arrest.

The details of cases registered against Hammad Azhar have come to open.

According to police Hammad Azhar was wanted in 48 cases and 17 cases among them are registered under terrorism clauses. The challan of the accused will soon be worked out and he will be presented in the court

According to police sources Hammad Azhar did not join the investigation of the cases nor his arrest could become possible since long.

His arrest is likely to be made in the case No 23/96.
