Lahore: A significant agreement has been reached between Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan and Qatar Charity, under which Qatar Charity will provide financial and technical support for Alkhidmat's 13 Mobile Health Units.

The aim of this agreement is to enhance the delivery of free and quality healthcare services to underprivileged individuals living in remote and underserved areas of the country.

In connection with this initiative, a delegation from Qatar Charity visited the Alkhidmat Foundation's head office in Lahore, where the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Qatar Charity's Country Director, Amin Abdul Rahman, and Alkhidmat Foundation's Secretary General, Syed Waqas Anjum Jafri.

At the MoU signing ceremony between the two organizations, Alkhidmat Foundation was represented by Secretary General Syed Waqas Jafri, Chairman of Health Professor Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif, and National Director of Mobile Health Services Dr. Ijaz Nazir. From Qatar Charity, Country Director Amin Abdul Rehman and Director of Programs Waqas Haleem participated.

On the occasion, Syed Waqas Jafri stated, "Alkhidmat Foundation has always been committed to delivering essential services such as healthcare, education, and relief to the underprivileged. This agreement with Qatar Charity will further strengthen our healthcare sector, enabling us to provide free medical services to a greater number of people."

Professor Dr. Muhammad Zahid Latif added that Alkhidmat's Mobile Health Units-especially after the devastating floods of 2022-have been offering daily treatment, medications, laboratory tests, and other basic health services to hundreds of patients.

Qatar Charity's Country Director Amin Abdul Rehman praised Alkhidmat's efforts and reaffirmed their commitment to continued collaboration. He stated that the agreement symbolizes the shared mission of both organizations to make healthcare accessible to every individual-an essential service to humanity.
