Islamabad: Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman JandK People's Freedom League and ex-Convener, All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJandK , has strongly condemned killings of three youth in a fake encounter in the Harwan forests of Srinagar's upper range, launching a campaign of brutal operations against nomadic tribes of Gujars and Bakarwals, thrashing, canning and beating them and creating a sense of fear and insecurity among the nomads and locals.
Reports say that the encounter was preplanned to take revenge of the last Pahalgam tragedy when many yatrees were killed by unknown elements that latter led to a brief war between Pakistan and India, drawing attention of the US President Trump to intervene in the situation and offer his good offices to resolve the long standing dispute and relieve Kashmir is of a worst historical trauma and political suffocation since 1947.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said that might be contemplating some new drama ahead of 5 August , which the Kashmir will observe as a black day in protest against dismembering the historical State of Jammu and Kashmir and merging it as a Union Territory in brazen violation of the Partition plan of 1947 and the UN Charter and relevant UN SC resolutions.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani said no section of the population of the State of Jammu and Kashmir will accept India's 5 August 2019 murderous Hindutva plan for erasing the State from the world map. Whatever the conditions, he emphasised that the State of Jammu and Kashmir will not accept any solution short of the right of self-determination and a free and fair plebiscite under the United Nations auspices.
