Islamabad: PTI leader Murad Saeed has filed appeal plea in Islamabad High Court (IHC) against district court decision for paying 25 lac in damage to Ahsan Iqbal.

As per media report, the petitioner has requested the court to nullify defamation damage decree of Rs 25 lac.

It is pertinent to mention here Additional District Judge Islamabad had ordered Murad Saeed on July 29, 2026 to pay damage to Ahsan Iqbal.

Murad Saeed has challenged this decision in IHC.

The court has been requested through the appeal plea to issue stay order against the district court decision till the final decision of the case.

It was further prayed that the trial court decision is against the solid facts and evidence on record.
