Islamabad: A resolution with reference to Youm-e-Istehsal'Kashmir was adopted unanimously in National Assembly.

Minister for Kashmir affairs Amir Muqam presented resolution with reference to Youm-e-Istehsal'Kashmir which said this house condemns Indian August 5, 2019 steps.

According to resolution this house declares Indian steps as violation of Geneva Convention and strongly condemns Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir. This house condemns the statements on Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

This house calls for implementation of UN resolutions besides allowing the observers to go to Occupied Kashmir.

Earlier speaker NA took notice of absence of Sheikh Waqas Akram PTI MNA from the house more than 40 days.

Speaker NA said the seat of a member who remains absent from house by more than 40 days without informing can be declared vacant.

Syeda Noshin Iftikhar presented motion for revoking membership of Sheikh Waqas Akram.

Deputy speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah said we will see your request as per rules.

PTI MNA Aamir Dogar said you awarded sentence of 10 years each to our legislators. 10 MNAs of ours were lifted from the house and you did not take any action.

Aamir Dogar said applications of Sheikh Waqas Akram have come in your office. You subjected MNAs to political victimization. If you have to do all this then lock up the house.
