Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has approved the appointment of Additional Secretary (Administration) Mr. Saeed Ahmed Maitla as Acting Secretary National Assembly.

According to an official press release issued by the National Assembly Secretariat, a formal notification regarding the appointment has been issued, and Mr. Saeed Ahmed Maitla has assumed charge with immediate effect.

The appointment follows the completion of the service tenure and subsequent retirement of the former Secretary General National Assembly, Mr. Tahir Hussain.
