Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Shab-e-Meraj, terming it a great and spiritually significant miracle in the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (?).

In his message, the NA Speaker said that Shab-e-Meraj is a luminous manifestation of the boundless power of Allah Almighty and the exalted status of Khatam-un-Nabiyin, Hazrat Muhammad (?). He said the sacred night carries a comprehensive message of faith, worship, patience, obedience to Allah, and steadfastness during hardships.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Shab-e-Meraj marks the blessed occasion when Allah Almighty took His beloved Prophet (?) from Masjid-e-Haram to Masjid-e-Aqsa, and thereafter to Arsh-e-Ilahi, describing it as one of the greatest miracles in human history. He said that during this miraculous journey, the Holy Prophet (?) was taken through the seven heavens within the shortest span of time.

The Speaker said that on this sacred night, the gift of Salah was bestowed upon the Muslim Ummah, which serves as a source of spiritual elevation and closeness to Allah Almighty. He emphasized that strict observance of prayers, along with patience, tolerance, forbearance, and adherence to high moral values, is essential for establishing a just, peaceful, and welfare-oriented society.

Highlighting the message of hope embedded in Shab-e-Meraj, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that divine help and success surely follow trials and hardships. He said the event occurred during one of the most difficult phases of the Holy Prophet's (?) life, following the demise of Hazrat Khadijah (RA) and Hazrat Abu Talib, symbolizing Allah's promise that ease follows hardship.

The NA Speaker appealed to the nation to offer special prayers on this blessed night for the oppressed Muslim brethren of Palestine and Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, as well as for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. He urged the international community to play its role in the establishment of an independent Palestinian state in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions and reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq prayed that Allah Almighty, by the blessings of Shab-e-Meraj, may grant Pakistan peace, stability, and prosperity, and relieve the Muslim Ummah of all challenges and hardships.
