Islamabad: Income tax ratio in regard to salaried class has been further decreased.

National Assembly (NA) standing committee on finance has approved proposal for change in income tax ratio in respect of salaried class.

NA committee met under its chairman Syed Navid Qamar here Saturday. The committee deliberated over clause wise approval of income tax proposals.

Committee approved the proposal for change in income tax ratio for salaried class.

The committee approved the proposal for reducing income tax from 2.5 percent to 1 percent on salaried class drawing salary from Rs 6 lac to 12 lac.

The proposal for reduction in super tax by 0.5 percent on corporate sector was also approved.
