Islamabad: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) while expressing resentment over misplacement of narcotics forensic report by police in narcotics and terrorism case against journalist Mati Ullah Jan has summoned SPP Investigation in person.

The court said why the SSP Investigation did not present report by conducting investigation.

The narcotics and terrorism case against journalist Mati Ullah Jan came up for hearing in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad Thursday.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra has summoned SSP investigation in person.

Police had told the court drugs forensic report in respect of journalist Mati Ullah Jan has been misplaced.

Upon it the court had ordered SSP Investigation to hold investigation and file report thereof. But report has not been presented by the police today in the court .

The counsel barrister Ahad Khokhar said in the arguments that Supreme Court has stopped from indicting Mati Ullah Jan in this case.

Judge Tahir Abbas remarked SC has stopped from indictment but it has not stopped from conducting investigation into misplacement of police report.

Why the police have not presented investigation report on misplacement of forensic report.

Judge Tahir Abbas remarked if the report is not presented on next hearing or the SP does not appear in person then arrest warrants will be issued.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till April 16.
