Rawalpindi: Counsels of the accused have completed cross examination of third witness in Toshakhana -2 case against former chairman PTI and his wife Bushra Bibi for acquiring precious Bulgari jewelry set in the court of special judge central Shah Rukh Arjumand.

Court has recorded statement of 4th witness of the case.

FIA has presented list of more 4 witnesses in the court.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till January 8.

Former chairman PTI was presented in the court Monday. Bushra Bibi too came in the court.

Counsels of the accused Arshid Tabrez and Qousain Faisal Mufti and Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi counsel for FIA were also present in the court.

At the inception of hearing the counsels for the accused completed cross examination of third witness of FIA, Binyamin who is section officer in cabinet division. Later the fourth witness of FIA deputy secretary coordination Muhammad Ahad recorded his statement. The counsels for the accused will cross examine him on next date.

FIA presented list of 4 more witnesses in the court.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till January 8.

The 4th witness will be cross-examined on next date.

It is alleged in Toshakhana reference that former chairman PTI and his wife Bushra Bibi had obtained Bulgari jewelry set at lower price from Toshakhana against the law. They sold out this jewelry in market.

Jewelry set cost Rs 7.50 crore.
