Islamabad: Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Muhammad Abdul Shakoor has said that no force of the world could defeat the belief and firm commitment. He said that on the basis of belief and firm commitment, Al-Qassam and Al-Aqsa Brigade of Hamas not only defeated Israel but also the intelligence and military force of big powers of the world which were supporting her. He said that the people of Gaza have created new example of courage, steadfastness and struggle in the human history.While addressing a big ceremony held for collection of donations for Razi Hospital Islamabad, Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that when he became the President of Alkhidmat Foundation the total revenue was Rs 800 million and 80 percent of the revenue was generated from abroad. Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that he consulted with President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Professor Dr. Hafeezur Rehman and other leaders that we should not only enhance the collection of donations but also should decrease the dependence on outside world and should concentrate on collection of funds from inside Pakistan.Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that in result of the commitment of Alkhidmat teams collection of donations reached Rs 5 billon in 2018 and out of this amount 80 percent was collected from inside Pakistan. He said that there is no match of Pakistani nation in capacity and charity. He said that we had not dreamed today's Razi Hospital when laid the foundation 7 years ago.Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that there is an army of committed people in Alkhidmat Foundation due to which are fulfilling the needs of the needy people not only in Pakistan but in many other countries of the world also. He said that when tyrant Israel attacked the people of Gaza, Alkhidmat Foundation immediately reached Egypt and Jordan and became active for the service of the Muslim brothers and sisters.Muhammad Abdul Shakoor said that we have to take part in the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Gaza people with the amount of Rs 15 billion and this could only becom e possible with the help and donations of Pakistani philanthropists, adding that we have to prove that the people of Gaza are not alone.The ceremony was also addressed by the prominent Kashmiri leader and founder of Razi Hospital Islamabad Muhammad Altaf Bhat and Razi hospital's Managing Director Dr. Tahir Farooq. A large number of male and female philanthropists of the area attended the ceremony. On the occasion donations of Rs 18 million were collected for Razi hospital.
