Islamabad: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has categorically stated that nobody will be allowed to create political instability in the country. Talking to media persons in Islamabad Wednesday, he said there is no room for the politics of chaos and arson.

The Minister of State regretted Rawalpindi incident in which a political worker attacked the security forces. He said the attacker was killed by the security forces in self-defence.

Talal Chaudhry said the PTI has repeatedly been urged not to engage in the politics of hatred, chaos and arson. He regretted that the party has instead promoted such negative politics among its workers, saying Rawalpindi incident was a result of this mindset.

He said a free and fair investigation into the incident is underway, making it clear that any attack on an institution will be dealt with iron hands.
