Islamabad: Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, the most senior judge of the Supreme Court, says that he will take up the issue of implementation of court decisions in the Judges Committee.While addressing a seminar on dealing with the challenges faced in the implementation of court decisions in Islamabad, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said that I saw that the decision of 2014 has now been implemented.'Non-compliance of court decisions will disturb the constitutional balance. I am not the Acting Chief Justice, I am the senior most judge, it is not possible that the decisions of the Supreme Court should not be implemented' he maintained.Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said that the Apex Court takes its authority from the constitution, it is our responsibility to maintain the balance.He said that Justice Qazi Faiz Isa is my friend and the Chief Justice of Pakistan, I am the most senior judge. Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa is healthy and strong, may God bless him.The decisions of the Supreme Court are fully implemented, it ca n never happen that the decisions of the Supreme Court are not implemented, this is a violation of the Constitution.He said that the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Court is not a tradition but a mandatory requirement and the Supreme Court does not get this authority from anywhere else but from the Constitution.Justice Mansoor Ali Shah said that if you want to bring a new system, then make it, things will not work like this, or else change the whole structure and make something else, but the current constitution.He said that according to the constitution, it is necessary to respect Court decision, and it is our responsibility, no one has a choice to judge it. Whether this decision is right or not, the power lies solely with the Supreme Court to accept the decision it has taken, and this is the system of this country.
