ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has rejected the appeals filed against imposition of fine on secretary defence, secretary interior, chief commissioner and police officers in the case of non recovery of missing persons.The Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamir Farooq while expressing resentment over Additional Attorney General (AAG) due to lack of progress in the case has remarked several years have passed. Where are missing persons. Every time you say progress is being made. We have given time to you on several occasions . Should the fine be not doubled or should we not summon Prime Minister (PM).He gave these remarks while presiding over two members bench of IHC during the hearing of recovery of missing persons including IT expert Sajid Mehmood, Umar Abdullah, Mudassar Naro and others.Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb is the part of the bench.AAG appeared in the court .The CJ IHC inquired from him AAG Sahb, is any good news.
