Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while issuing notice to the respondents in the case against not removing the name of PTI MNA Zartaj Gill from Exit Control List (ECL) has summoned report from interior ministry. The court has also summoned the competent officer along with report on next hearing. Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri of IHC took up the case for hearing Monday. Zartaj Gill had filed petition in IHC taking the plea 47 cases are registered against Zartaj Gill. Federation has been made respondent in the petition through interior ministry. FIA, Directorate passport and immigration , home department Punjab and Islamabad police are included in the respondents. It was further said in the petition 21 out of 47 cases are registered under terrorism clauses. Name of PTI leaders have been included in ECL. Zartaj Gill name was removed from ECL and was included again. The petitioner gave application for removal of name from ECL in connection with performance of Umrah. Name was put in ECL despite cour t's orders. Order be issued for removing name of Zartaj Gill from ECL in connection with performance of Umrah.
