Islamabad: Advocate Noor Alam Khan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been appointed as a member of the Pakistan Bar Council. His appointment follows the elevation of former member Tariq Afridi as an Additional Judge, which resulted in the vacancy of a KPK seat in the Council.
The Pakistan Bar Council is the highest regulatory body for the legal fraternity, entrusted with disciplinary actions against lawyers and overseeing matters related to law colleges and universities. Its members are elected from all four provinces and Islamabad.
