Islamabad: Senior lawyer and vice chairman Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) Farooq H Naik has said notification of new chief justice will come ahead of retirement of Qazi Faez Isa.He said this while talking to media men here Tuesday.Naik said he did not attend Lawyers convention as vice chairman PBC, Holding convention is right of the lawyers. We have our stance about constitutional court that it should be formed. Constitutional court is beneficial and not harmful to country. Several criminal and civil cases will decrease due to establishment of constitutional court.Law minister had sent draft of proposed constitutional amendment and we have reviewed it, he pointed out. We have sent our representations back with some changes and amendments.He held Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif had decided to establish constitutional court in charter of democracy.Law ministry has to issue notification of new chief justice. This is job of government. I think notification of new chief justice will come before ret irement of Qazi Faez Isa.
