Islamabad: Notification for curtailing power tariff by 48 paisas per unit has been issued.

According to NEPRA notification the tariff has been slashed under the head of fuel price adjustment for the month of September. This relief will be shifted to consumers in the electricity bills for the month of November.

This relief will apply to all the consumers across the country including Karachi except life line consumers.

It is pertinent to mention here Central Power Purchasing Agency had requested for reduction in power tariff by paisas 37 per unit.
