Rawalpindi: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has decided for early hearing of 3 cases related to November 26 protest besides fixing these cases for hearing on July 25.

Prosecution filed application before judge Amjad Ali Shah of ATC Rawalpindi.

Court has been requested through the application presented by prosecutor Syed Zaheer Shah for fixing case No 3393 of police station Sadiq Abad, case No 839 of police station Wah Cantt and case No 1862 of police station Naseer Abad for early hearing.

The court while accepting the plea fixed these three cases for hearing on July 25 has issued notice to all accused and counsels.

It is pertinent to mention here ATC judge was on leave till August 7. His leave has been cancelled and he has been called in connection with trial of cases related to November 26 protest.

The court has decided to conduct trial of November 26 related cases 3 or 4 days in a week.

In these cases Aleema Khan and PTI founder are nominated as accused. Challan against them have not been presented so far.

On presentation of challan against PTI founder the trial will be conducted in jail of the three cases and if challan is not presented then trial will take place in district court.

On the other hand ATC has issued arrest warrants of the accused who have not been arrested in November 26 protest related three cases.

Police have formed raiding parties and started conducting raids.

The accused are former president Arif Alvi, chief minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur, Shahid Khattak, Khlid Khurshid, Omar Ayub, Shehr Yar Riaz, Asad Qaisar, Faisal Amin and Hammad Azhar and others.
