Islamabad: The court has issued arrest warrants of 2 absconding accused during hearing of November 26 protest cases.

The cases registered against PTI workers with reference to November 26 protest came up for hearing in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad Tuesday.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of ATC heard the cases.

The court while directing to ensure presence of all accused on next hearing adjourned the hearing of the case till July 15.

Copies of challan will be distributed among the accused on next hearing.

The court issued arrest warrants in respect of two accused due to their absence.

Counsels Murtaza Hussain Toori, Sardar Masroof, Amna Ali, Zahid Bashir Dar and others appeared in the court and gave arguments.

It is pertinent to mention here PTI senior leadership and Bushra Bibi have been nominated in this case too. However challan has been presented in the court to the extent of PTI workers only.

The case is registered in police station Kohsar.
