Omar Ayub removed from post of NA opposition leader

Islamabad: Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) has been removed from his office and NA secretariat has issued notification in this regard.

NA secretariat has declared post of opposition leader in NA vacant.

Chamber of opposition leader has also been withdrawn from PTI.

NA speaker will issue notification soon for appointment of new opposition leader in NA.

According to secretary 3 key posts of NA have been withdrawn from PTI. Omar Ayub was removed as opposition leader in NA.

Post of parliamentary leader held by Zartaj Gul and deputy parliamentary leader held by Ahmad Chatha have been declared vacant.

As per notification issued by NA secretariat Omar Ayub has been delisted from Public Accounts Committee and Finance Committee. Membership of standing committee has been taken back from 7 disqualified Members of National Assembly (MNAs) of PTI.
