Lahore: A Pakistan Railway employee has been killed and one woman injured due to collapse of one portion of passengers bridge at Khanewal railway station.

Railway spokesperson has said rescue operation has been completed and work for construction of bridge will start from today.

Rescue team rushed to the scene on information and shifted the deceased and injured to hospital. Medical treatment was provided to injured.

Railway spokesperson has further said railway traffic is operating as per scheduled timetable at Khanewal railway station.
