Islamabad: JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said meaningful dialogues are the only solution to the prevailing situation in AJK and government should avoid use of force.
JI has played practical role for confidence building between government and Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) by accepting the offer of mediation. Both the sides should sit on negotiating table forthwith so that chaos and blood shed could be avoided, Hafiz Naeem said this while addressing a press conference here Tuesday.
He said JAAC has expressed full confidence on JI. It gave positive message by postponing its long march. Government should also demonstrate seriousness and start talks for resolution of just problems of the people.
He warned AJK situation be not taken to such end that India gets the opportunity to launch propaganda campaign against Pakistan and Kashmir issue.
He underlined that JI mediation with JAAC is within the national and constitutional framework of Pakistan and Kashmir issue.
I don’t agree with government stance that the situation has reached point of no return. Door to talks is still open. JI is prepared for extending every possible cooperation.
JI is not making any political point scoring. Our priority is Pakistan, Kashmir and Kashmir issue, he added.
