Islamabad: A summary of losses claimed during Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq was released on Saturday, reporting significant casualties and destruction of military infrastructure attributed to Afghan Taliban forces.
According to the reported figures released at 4:00 pm on March 8, a total of 583 fighters were killed while more than 795 were injured during the operation.
The report further stated that 242 check posts were destroyed, while 38 additional posts were captured and later demolished.
It also claimed that 213 tanks, armored vehicles and artillery pieces were destroyed during the course of the operation.
In addition, 64 locations across Afghanistan were reportedly targeted effectively in aerial strikes as part of the operation.
