Islamabad: Opposition Alliance under Mehmood Khan Achakzai opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) has announced wheel jam strike on February 8.

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman too has announced to support the wheel jam strike.

After their meeting both Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Maulana Fazlur Rehman talked to media men.

Mehmood Khan Achakzai said we all say that the public mandate was forcibly stolen on February 8 . People were subjected to coercion. Black laws including PEECA act were implemented. The wings of judiciary were clipped.

He said JUI-F wanted to hold public meetings while we wanted to observe wheel jam strike.

He said we all condemn terrorism. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had done good by imposing ban on Basant.

To a question from journalist, PM wants to come to you, has Maulana Fazlur Rehman been taken into confidence., Achakzai said If PM wants to come to me then it is a good thing. If PM comes then we will talk to him.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said we support wheel jam strike from opposition and cancel our public meetings and rallies.

We support wheel jam strike and will hold our public meetings and processions after February 08.

He alleged by polls too are being stolen. Our stance is only one that new elections be held.

Criticizing government steps he said democracy is losing its case due to legislation by the government. Whenever country is in difficult situation then public opinion steers it out from difficulty.

PTI leader Asad Qaisar said he strongly condemns Islamabad blast. Prime Minsiter should come to the house and give policy on terrorism. Our opinion is not being taken seriously. Doctors of PTI founder should be allowed to meet him.
