Islamabad: The oppressive Indian government through its police and civil bureaucracy is constantly undermining International humanitarian law and basic civil rights and free-freedoms, creating horrible conditions for the social and economic activities of the inhabitants beyond one's imagination, reacts Muhammad Farooq Rehmani Chairman J and K People's Freedom League and ex-Convener All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJ and K, in the aftermath of the tragic red fort explosion followed by an alike ammonium nitrogen blast in the Nowgam Police Station.

While condemning the house to house search and arrests of over 350 thousand youth in the Occupied State and illegally confiscating dozens of private shops in the main district market of Bandipore the hub of business and district centre, he remarked that the explosion in a police station of Nowgam with the explosive ammonium brought by the authorities themselves from Delhi had raised many concerns and questions over the role of the establishment in dismembered State and Delhi regime. It was all the more conspicuous as the Indian police and army officers enjoyed fullest impunity in Jammu and Kashmir to suppress the genuine demands of public.

Muhammad Farooq Rehmani appealed to the world community to take notice of the stepped up human rights atrocities and curbs on freedom of press and platform and also the latest illegal seizure of shops in Bandipore and elsewhere in the IIOJ and K to address the grievances of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
