Lahore: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that those who are making propaganda from opposition parties should know that it is harming the people and benefiting the government. He said all options including sit-ins, long marches, shutter downs and wheel jam strikes are available to implement the agreement made with the government. He said that membership campaign has started from September 1 across the country, online membership is also going on and they would also go street to street. The doors of Jamaat-e-Islami are open for everyone who wants to fight for the rights of the people and serve the nation. He appealed to the businessmen to unite and support us.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while talking to business leaders at Mansoorah. Secretary General Ameerul Azim, Naib Emir Dr. Osama Razi, Information Secretary JI Qaiser Sharif, Emir JI Central Punjab Javed Kasuri and Emir JI Lahore Ziauddin Ansari Advocate were also present on this occasion. Leaders of vario us business organizations of Lahore participated in the event and there was a consultation on the future action plan against unjust taxes.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Jamaat-e-Islami has decided that it will not unite with any political party but unite with the people. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami invites political workers of all parties to be a part of the Haq Do movement. He said that women will also be made members during the membership drive.He said that the businessmen were consulted before the sit-in against the increase in electricity tariff, cruel contracts of IPPs and illegal taxes, adding similarly they consulted the businessmen on the strike and gave them an opportunity to unite and announce the strike. Jamaat-e-Islami announced strike after their announcement. He said, 'We do not talk about credit, our struggle is for the people and this struggle will continue.'Hafiz Naeemur Rehman demanded from the government to ensure the provision of the rights given to women by Islam, to give women the right to inherit, to create a dignified and safe transport system for women. He said the women employees should be made permanent, health and education facilities should be ensured for women and women's universities should be established in every city.Talking about the World Hijab Day, he said that dowry is a curse and other ignorant rituals including marriage with Quran should be abolished. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the west has exploited the woman, that is why the woman of the West is alone but in our society, a woman has her father, brother, son and husband. He said the west talks a lot about freedom, but does not allow women to wear hijab.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that Pakistan was achieved on the basis of an ideology, but the constitution and laws of the state of Pakistan were not made in accordance with Islam. He said women are exploited in the name of women's rights under government patronage by NGOs, western culture itself has made western women unsafe, western family system is not safe.
