Islamabad: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of the unlawfully incarcerated Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, stated that the orchestrated attacks and false flag operations under Narendra Modi - from Pathankot and Uri to Pulwama and now Pahalgam - are not merely anti-Pakistan theatrics, but calculated smokescreens to mask a hijacked democracy and the ruthless suppression of dissent in BJP-ruled India.
Addressing a press conference, Mushaal Mullick, who is the Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organisation strongly condemned the Pahalgam incident, calling it yet another false flag operation by India aimed at maligning the Kashmir freedom movement and wrongfully implicating Pakistan in acts of terrorism. She has strongly and unequivocally condemned the barbaric killing of 28 innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), calling it an act of terrorism against humanity.
Mushaal expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss of lives, which includes Indian nationals as well as foreign tourists from Nepal and the UAE. She stated that among the deceased were also Kashmiri Muslims and Indian Muslim family as well, underlining the indiscriminate nature of this heinous act. The Hurriyat leader emphasized that India's abrupt decisions to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty and ban Pakistani nationals from visiting India clearly expose Delhi's involvement in the heinous crime of killing innocent tourists. She argued that these moves were aimed at diverting attention from local unrest against New Delhi's illegal, unpopular, and biased policies, which have sparked widespread protests. Additionally, she accused India of orchestrating the attack to defame the legitimate freedom struggle in the occupied valley.
She said that that after every high-octane attack, the swift shifting of blame on Pakistan without credible evidence was old tactics of the RSS-inspired regime to distract the local and internal community's attention from the BJP fascist regime's relentless barbarism and state terrorism in IIOJK.
The chairperson questioned how such an incident could occur despite the massive presence of Indian troops in the territory. She urged Narendra Modi fascist regime to stop defaming Kashmiris, saying that they have never attacked tourists, and they never will.
Mushaal expressed grave concerns about the timing and nature of the attack, which coincided with the high-profile visit of US Vice President J.D. Vance to India. The Hurriyat leader noted that the attack bore an unsettling resemblance to the 2000 Chattisinghpora massacre, later revealed to be a staged operation by Indian occupation forces masquerading as Kashmiri Muslims during President Bill Clinton's visit to India. The Chairperson asserted that India has a long-standing policy of orchestrating false flag operations to defame and malign the ongoing just and indigenous freedom movement in the scenic valley. She noted that despite employing state-sponsored barbarism and terrorism, the Hindutva regime has failed miserably to quell the movement for the right to self-determination.
Mushaal urged the UN bodies and world community to press Modi regime to allow impartial and international probe into the Pahalgam massacre to bring the perpetrators to justice. She stated that the RSS-inspired Modi regime was a threat not to the regional stability but to the world peace. She called upon the global powers to take practical steps to stop the ongoing genocidal acts and ethnic cleansing in the occupied valley and find out perpetual solution to the world oldest dispute as per the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
