Manama: Pakistan and Bahrain have agreed on evolving joint strategy for cooperation in counter-terrorism, combating human trafficking and anti-narcotics. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reached Manama, capital of Bahrain on one day visit.

Interior minister Bahrain General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa welcomed Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi at Bahrain International airport.

The two held important meeting in Manama fort. They exchanged views in details on regional and global challenges and matters of mutual interest.

The two sides stressed on bilateral cooperation in counter-terrorism, combating human trafficking and anti-narcotics efforts during the meeting.

They also discussed making Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Security Committee more effective.

The Bahraini Interior Minister appreciated the cooperation and coordination between Pakistan and Bahrain in security and other fields. He said we value the security cooperation with Pakistan.
