Islamabad: Pakistan while strongly condemning the demolition of centuries old mosque in Saharanpur city of Indian state Uttar Pradesh by India has said destruction of historical Islamic place of worship is another manifestation of campaign based on broader Islamophobic and Hindutva.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan said this during his weekly press briefing here Thursday.

Regarding Makkah Defence Alliance, he said the primary objective is to strengthen regional peace and stability and the agreement in essence formalises and further strengthens many aspects of the existing long term relationship and bilateral cooperation among the three countries. He emphasized that the agreement is purely for defensive purposes.
Pakistan will hold 14th South Asian Games from April 4 to 11 , 2027. The games will take place in Islamabad, Punjab and KP. 28 sports will be contested. over 6000 athletes and officials from South Asia are likely to participate in games.
Pakistan had hosted South Asian Games last time in 2004. Invitations have already been issued through respective Olympic Associations.
