Moscow: Pakistan is interested in enhancing business ties with Russia, said Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq at the meeting with Speaker Federation Council of the Russian Federation Ms. Valentina Matviyenko on Thursday in Moscow. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq noted that the business cooperation between Pakistan and Russia has increased significantly but there is still room for development. He further underscored that there is an urgent need to find working financial mechanisms in order to remove remaining obstacles to trade cooperation. The Speaker added that Pakistan needs oil, gas, machines and many other things from Russia. He called on to step up business cooperation "Let the G-to-G work, but we, at the parliamentary level also want to promote business ties," the Speaker said. The Speaker recalled Matviyenko's visit to Islamabad this October and highlighted that the increased intensity of bilateral exchanges at all level s was a testament to growing Pakistan Russia relations. The Speaker high lighted the role of interparliamentary cooperation in Pakistan Russia relations while emphasizing the need for regional and trade connectivity. Both sides agreed to continue regular parliamentary exchanges.
