Rawalpindi: A Pakistan Navy Flotilla comprising PNS Rah Naward (Sail Ship), PNS Madadgar and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) ship PMSS Kashmir visited Port Sultan Qaboos, Muscat, Oman, where the ships were warmly welcomed by Omani authorities.During the visit, the Mission Commander, along with Commanding Officers of the ships, held meetings with the naval leadership of Oman. The Mission Commander called on the Acting Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), Director General Operations and Plans, Commander Maritime Security Centre, Commander Said Bin Sultan Naval Base, and Commandant Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy.Following the port call, Pakistan Navy and PMSA ships conducted a Passage Exercise with Royal Oman Navy ship Khasab. The exercise aimed at enhancing interoperability between the two navies and promoting shared learning through bilateral naval engagements.Pakistan and Oman are maritime neighbours, and port visits, high-level exchanges and joint exercises remain a regular feature of bila teral naval cooperation.
