Rawalpindi: A Pakistan Navy flotilla, comprising PNS RAH NAWARD (Sail Ship), PNS MADADGAR, and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) ship PMSS KASHMIR, arrived at Port Sultan Qaboos, Muscat, Oman, where they were warmly received by Omani authorities.

During the visit, the Mission Commander and Commanding Officers held meetings with Omani naval leadership, including the Acting Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), DG Operations and Plans, Commander Maritime Security Centre, Commander Said Bin Sultan Naval Base, and the Commandant of Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy.

Following the port call, Pakistan Navy and PMSA ships conducted a Passage Exercise with RNO ship KHASAB. The exercise at sea aimed to enhance interoperability, foster bilateral cooperation, and promote shared learning through joint naval drills.

Pakistan and Oman, as maritime neighbours, maintain strong naval ties through frequent diplomatic visits, port calls, and joint exercises, reflecting their ongoing commitment to regional maritime security.
