Islamabad: Prime Minister of Pakistan concluded an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain from 26-27 November, where he was awarded the prestigious Order of Bahrain (First Class) by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. During the visit, the Prime Minister met with Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa to discuss enhancing bilateral trade, currently valued at over USD 550 million, with a target to reach USD 1 billion within three years. The leaders emphasized economic cooperation in sectors including food security, IT, construction, healthcare, renewable energy, and tourism. The visit highlighted historic ties between Pakistan and Bahrain and aimed at strengthening strategic, economic, security, and people-to-people relations.
