Islamabad: According to Planning Commission sources, IMF Negotiations with Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Planning Officials.

According to sources, The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Planning have submitted the Green Initiative Report to the IMF.

The Ministry of Planning detailed climate change projects in the report.

The Ministry of Finance had instructed the Planning Commission to prepare the report as per IMF's request.

According to Planning Commission sources, this report was among the IMF's primary requirements.

The meeting also discussed the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) expenditures and budgetary cuts for the current fiscal year.

Officials from the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Planning provided a briefing during the introductory session, Planning Commission sources confirmed.

According to sources, from the Ministry of Finance Formal negotiations between the economic team and the IMF delegation will commence tomorrow.

As per the official schedule, meetings between the IMF and the Ministry of Finance, along with other ministries, are set to take place tomorrow.
