Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, during which both leaders discussed recent developments and matters of mutual concern.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, himself, and the brotherly people of Trkiye over the tragic loss of precious lives in the mosque bomb blast in Islamabad. He expressed Trkiye's solidarity with the people and government of Pakistan during this difficult time.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar thanked the Turkish leadership for their sympathy and support, and reaffirmed Pakistan's unshaken resolve to combat terrorism in all its forms and to ensure the protection of its citizens.
During the conversation, both sides also exchanged views on bilateral relations, issues of mutual interest, and key regional and international developments, reaffirming the strong and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Trkiye.
