Lahore: Pakistani food delegation from South Punjab currently on a 10-day visit to 10 cities of China, receiving an overwhelming response from their Chinese counterparts. According to a message received here On Sunday from China,leader of the delegation convener Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry regional committee on food Shahid Imran said delegation, comprising food entrepreneurs,and exporters,aims to strengthen bilateral trade ties and explore new opportunities for Pakistani food products in the Chinese market.

South Punjab, known for its rich agricultural produce including international standards snacks is showcasing a variety of traditional and organic food products. He said delegation has been welcomed with great enthusiasm, as Chinese importers and businesses expressed keen interest in the high-quality and unique flavors of Pakistani cuisine. Several results oriented business-to- business (B2B) meetings are being held allowing the delegation to network with potential buyers and distributors. The visit has also facilitated discussions on streamlining trade processes, reducing tariffs, and improving logistics to enhance food exports from Pakistan to China. Shahid Imran leading the delegation are visiting 10 cities for fully exploring the export avenues and this tour is part of the broader efforts to capitalize and strengthen economic collaboration between the two countries.

The delegation's visit is expected to open new avenues for South Punjab's food industry especially international standards snacks boosting exports and fostering long-term partnerships with Chinese businesses.
