Ankara: Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkiye Dr. Yousaf Junaid emphasized that the students' visit reflects Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's vision to invest in the youth of Pakistan and further strengthen educational and cultural ties with Trkiye.The Embassy of Pakistan in Ankara hosted a vibrant Cultural Evening in honour of a high-achieving student delegation from Pakistan, currently visiting Trkiye under the initiative of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The program aimed to reward academic excellence and promote educational and cultural exchange between the two brotherly nations.The event was graced by Ambassador of Pakistan to Trkiye, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, and Director General Eyyup Tanyildiz from the Turkish Ministry of National Education, along with senior officials and distinguished guests.Students from the Pakistan Embassy International Study Group (PEISG) presented colourful cultural performances highlighting the shared heritage, traditions, and values of Pakistan and Trkiye.In his address, Ambass ador Dr. Yousaf Junaid emphasized that the students' visit reflects Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's vision to invest in the youth of Pakistan and further strengthen educational and cultural ties with Trkiye. He congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements and encouraged them to act as young ambassadors of Pakistan while learning from Trkiye's educational and social advancements.The Ambassador lauded the support of the Turkish Ministry of National Education and reiterated Pakistan's resolve to enhance collaboration in student exchange, teacher training, and curriculum development. He also commended the continuous efforts of PEISG in promoting quality education and cultural understanding between the two nations.While welcoming the students, Director General Eyyup Tanyildiz expressed that such visits provide young people with valuable opportunities to understand each other's cultures and form lasting friendships. He reaffirmed Trkiye's commitment to further cooperation in the fields of studen t and teacher exchanges, research, and academic collaboration.Concluding the ceremony, Ambassador Junaid reaffirmed the unbreakable brotherly bond between Pakistan and Trkiye, describing it as 'one nation, two states.'The first batch of 70 students, out of a total of 149, is currently visiting Trkiye. Earlier, they spent three days in Istanbul, exploring historic landmarks and leading universities to experience Trkiye's rich cultural and academic environment.
