Islamabad: District and Sessions Court Islamabad has approved exemption plea of former Prime Minster (PM) AJK Sardar Tanvir Ilyas in the case of use of diplomatic passport.

Judicial magistrate Ahmad Shahzad Gondal took up for hearing the case of use of diplomatic passport against Sardar Tanvir Ilyas Monday.

Exemption from attendance plea in respect of Sardar Tanvir Ilyas was presented in the court during the hearing of the case.

The evidence of the prosecution could not be recorded due to non availability of Sardar Tanvir Ilyas.

The court while summoning the prosecution witnesses on next hearing adjourned further hearing of the case till October 31.,
