Islamabad: Federation has sought time from Islamabad High Court (IHC) for filing reply in respect of petition filed against the appointment of justice Arbab Tahir and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz.

The court has issued notice to Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) for assistance.

The court has remarked it is simple question as to why the reply is not being filed.

The petition against the appointment of justice Arbab Tahir and Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz. came up for hearing in IHC.

Federation sought time for filing reply.

The court while accepting plea issued notice under section 27-A for assistance.

Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro said written reply be filed till next hearing. We are fixing the case at first number on June 30.

The court adjourned hearing of the case till June 30.
