Lahore: Election Tribunal (ET) has rejected the appeal plea against the success of Information minister Atta Ullah Tarar in general election from NA -127.

Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar had challenged the success of information minister but the ET has declared the plea wrong, non maintainable and baseless.

Malik Zahir Abbas Khokhar sought longer dates several time and filed the petitions for adjournment of the case. However he failed to present solid evidence in his support.

Barrister Haris Azmat advocate appeared in ET on behalf of Atta Ullah Tarar.

The ET dismissed the election petition for want of solid evidence and being not maintainable.

Syed Tausif Shah political coordinator to Prime Minister was also present during the hearing of the case.
