Islamabad: Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) while hearing the petition filed against the decision of KP government for withdrawing May 9 cases has given two weeks time to the respondents for filing reply.
Further hearing of the case will take place after summer vacations. A 3-member bench of FCC presided over by Chief Justice (CJ) Aminuddin Khan heard the case. The court remarked during the hearing of the case replies were to come in this case.
Advocate General (AG) appeared in the court on behalf of KP government. He said ” we have some objections and took the plea the petitioner cannot come directly in FCC. CJ Aminuddin Khan after hearing the objections of AG remarked whosoever wants to file reply should file it.
The court directed all respondents to file their written replies within prescribed time. The court made it clear hearing of the case will be held after summer vacations and all the replies which are filed will be reviewed at that time.
