Peshawar: An important petition has been filed in Peshawar High Court (PHC) on the matter of lack of good governance in KP.Provincial government and others have been made respondents in the petition.The petition has been filed through Hammad advocate.The petition said there is no shortage of resources in KP. But the province lacks good governance.The province has been deprived of several development projects for want of timely and correct use of funds.The people of province stand deprived of facilities of education, health, food and other basic facilities. Economy and economic activities are being affected gravely due to lack of good governance.The petitioner has requested the court good governance model be adopted on pattern of developed countries. Effective planning be evolved for promoting business and eradicating unemployment.Comprehensive strategy be evolved for ensuring transparency , improving good governance and preventing corruption.
