Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned Superintendent (Supdt) Adiala jail today in connection with petition on arranging telephonic talks of Imran Khan with his sons, his medical check up by personal doctor and jail facilities.

Jail Authorities have filed reply in the court on how many meetings took place between Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi following their conviction in 190 million pounds case.

The petition came up for hearing before Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamer Farooq Monday.

The court summoned superintendent Adiala jail today in this case.

Faisal Farid counsel for the petitioner and jail authorities appeared in the court.

The court inquired during the last hearing we had asked about phone calls and the rules regarding meeting.

Jail authorities replied phone call took place on January 13.

CJ IHC inquired whether the application will have not to be given for phone call every time.

Jail authorities said whatsapp calls are there in rules but it was got made under the court's order. Meeting of Bushra Bibi was arranged twice after announcement of punishment. Meeting too took place on January 17, 20, 23 during trial.

The CJ IHC remarked there can be no meeting during hearing. Therefore, we had asked you to give report. If such reply was to be given then I call superintendent.

Later the court summoned superintendent Adiala jail with detailed reply in person.

The court directed jail authorities that superintendent jail should come here after reading January 23 court's order.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till today (Tuesday.
