PG Punjab sends challans of 332 cases to courts in compliance with orders of CJ LHC

Lahore: Prosecutor General (PG) Punjab Syed Farhad Ali Shah in compliance with the orders of Chief Justice (CJ) Lahore High Court (LHC) Aaliya Neelum has sent challans of 332 cases to the courts for 345 applicants' petitions in the first three months of this year.As per media report, CJ LHC Aaliya Neelum ordered to send challans of all cases in Punjab to the courts forthwith.Special directives in this regard were issued to Prosecutor General (PG) Punjab Syed Farhad Ali Shah who established complaint cell in prosecution office following the issuance of these directives.Prosecutor General (PG) Punjab Syed Farhad Ali Shah issued special directives to respective district public prosecutors to address complaints of the grievances of applicants besides taking action against investigating officers for not submitting charge sheets to the courts.
